The Kindergarten International Programme (KIP)

At HOE allows us to deliver a comprehensive, international education to our students. It has been custom made to include the objectives of the English International Curriculum and modified to meet the needs of our Programme of inquiry which reflects the international diversity that is present in our classrooms.

To Support The Learning Process

Our department is divided into two stages: Nursery and Reception. Nursery which represents the Pre-Reception classes (3 – 4 yrs.). Reception years represent our classes in Foundation 1 (4 – 5 yrs.) and Foundation 2 (5 – 6 yrs.).

Our Programme Aims

To create a curriculum that is engaging, relevant and challenging which promotes the awakening of children’s personality. It, also, stimulates their language, sensory, motor, cognitive and social development as well as developing self-esteem and contributing to their emotional development

Believing In The Value Of Playtime

As the primary driver of inquiry for Early Years Learners, in the 3–6 age range, the curriculum is trans disciplinary; meaning that it offers young students authentic opportunities to focus on key developmental abilities that go across all areas of learning.

Our Planning Framework Expects

Teachers work with essential elements: knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes, and action that young students need to equip them for successful lives, both now and in the future.
